The review of the game begins, “If you were a kid like me in the early ’90s, you definitely have a special place in mind for Konami’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade game.” I have vivid memories of playing these games in arcades like the Super Nintendo and Major Magic, and they are still among the best side-scrolling action games ever developed more than 30 years later. With Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, the game’s creator Tribute Games aimed to recreate the magic that had made the character a video game icon of its era.
