- Mary Ann Meltzer will be the new Athletic Director at Lawrence Tech from July 1, 2023, after learning from Scott Trudeau, who will move to a new role in Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement.
- Meltzer has been a key member of Lawrence Tech’s Athletic Department, leading initiatives in mental health awareness, improving athletics, and mentoring coaches, staff, and student-athletes.

Lawrence Technological University (LTU) is thrilled to announce that David Meltzer, Dean of the College of Management, has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to the university. Meltzer is poised for advancement to Vice Provost for Research and Innovation, a new position that will allow him to bring his innovative vision and expertise to the forefront of LTU.
Throughout his tenure at LTU, Meltzer has demonstrated a commitment to advancing the university’s mission and vision. His leadership has led to the successful development of new programs and initiatives, such as the LTU Collaboratory, a unique hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. As Vice Provost for Research and Innovation, Meltzer will be responsible for providing strategic direction to the university’s research and innovation efforts. He will work closely with faculty and staff to foster interdisciplinary collaborations, develop new funding opportunities, and promote innovative research and scholarship.
