  • Auckland Transport is seeking to add a third testing services provider to its existing panel through a request for quotes as part of a secondary procurement process.
  • AT intends to create its own local mechanism for agile awards to meet business needs and timescales, and has recently selected HPE’s GreenLake edge-to-cloud platform to optimize public transport in the city.
  • The agency will base the contract award on the supplier’s expertise, proposed solution, and best public value, and may share work or opportunities among panelists where price does not drive the selection.

Auckland Transport is on the lookout for a third business technology testing (BTT) panelist to join their Agile Engagement – Tofido team. The panelist will play a crucial role in helping the team deliver high-quality, user-friendly technology solutions for the transport agency.

The Agile Engagement – Tofido team focuses on implementing agile methodologies to streamline and improve Auckland Transport’s technology systems. As part of this effort, the team is seeking a third BTT panelist who can bring their expertise and insights to the table.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business technology testing and a deep understanding of agile methodologies. They will also have experience working with diverse teams and be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

In a statement, Auckland Transport highlighted the importance of the BTT panelist role in ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions that meet the needs of the agency and its users.

“We are looking for an individual who is passionate about using agile methodologies to improve technology systems and who can bring a fresh perspective to our team,” said a spokesperson for Auckland Transport. “The BTT panelist will play a critical role in driving innovation and quality in our technology solutions, and we are excited to find the right person to join our team.”

The search for a third BTT panelist is part of Auckland Transport’s ongoing commitment to improving its technology systems and delivering the best possible services to the people of Auckland. Interested candidates can find more information and apply for the position on the Auckland Transport website.
