Blade Runner’s director used a Galaxy S23 Ultra to make a short film

If you saw Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked on February 1st, you might notice some footage from this movie. The company showed a portion of the film during the presentation. The film not only showcases the 200-megapixel camera, but also demonstrates the camera’s ability to shoot in low light.

The director of movies like ‘Blade Runner’, ‘The Martian’ and ‘Alien’ got hands-on experience with his Galaxy S23 Ultra early on. So Scott directed and produced a four-minute short called Behold. The film is about a young man who finds himself in an “aggressive environment” and reacts aggressively to every turn he makes. It will be released on the ground. “The dark world becomes good with good manners,” Scott explains in a behind-the-scenes video.

This advertising strategy does nothing for the average person. The average user wouldn’t get the same results from the legendary director from the Galaxy S23 Ultra. But Apple tends to promote his iPhone Pro to content his creators, so this stunt might be enough to convince the aspiring director to get an Ultra.
