Cape Coral Police Department awarded special grant for advanced forensics technology

CAPE CORAL, FL – The Cape Coral Police Department has announced today that it has been awarded a special grant for the implementation of advanced forensics technology in its investigations. The grant, worth $500,000, has been provided by the state government and will allow the department to enhance its crime-solving capabilities to a new level.

With this funding, the Cape Coral Police Department aims to acquire state-of-the-art forensic equipment, such as cutting-edge DNA analysis tools, advanced fingerprinting technology, and advanced software for analyzing digital evidence.
