Electreon has announced that it has entered into a joint development agreement with Toyota Motor Corporation and Denso Corporation to develop an advanced wireless vehicle accessory kit or vehicle receiver. The collaboration follows a successful global technology review conducted at Electreon’s headquarters in Beit Yanai, Israel, with engineering teams from Toyota and Denso participating. The parties plan to promote the technical development and adoption of wireless charging technology through cooperation in the development of an aftermarket wireless accessory kit for existing electrified vehicles for industrial use, integration of wireless technology on new car models, standardization of wireless charging of electric vehicles, and a joint pilot project in Japan, the US, or the EU. This joint development is expected to revolutionize the automotive industry by providing a smart and efficient way to charge electric vehicles.
