Blackbaud, the leading provider of cloud software for social good organizations, has unveiled its latest innovation at bbdevdays – a conference dedicated to developers who want to make a positive social impact. The company empowers developers to revolutionize social impact technology by providing them with an advanced software development kit (SDK) that can integrate with Blackbaud’s next-generation cloud platform.
The SDK enables developers to build applications that integrate with Blackbaud’s solutions for fundraising, relationship management, and analytics. Developers can easily create new ways to engage supporters, build more effective campaigns, and analyze impact data in real-time.
The innovative platform has already been used by several organizations including Educational Pathways International (EPI), a nonprofit organization that provides educational opportunities to children from disadvantaged backgrounds in Ghana. EPI uses Blackbaud’s SDK to build customized applications that directly align with their mission.
“It has been a game-changer for us,” said Kaylan Handel, Executive Director of Educational Pathways International. “With the SDK, we were able to create a mobile app that allows our supporters to donate easily, track their impact, and connect with our program participants in Ghana. It made our fundraising much more efficient, while also providing a better experience for donors.”
Blackbaud’s platform is also being used by other organizations to modernize their processes and improve their impact on society. For example, The American Heart Association uses the technology to increase donations and engagement with its supporters.
“We are excited to empower developers to create software that supports social good,” said Tim Hill, Vice President of Engineering at Blackbaud. “The SDK enables developers to help nonprofits achieve their mission by building custom applications that fit their needs. We believe that technology can help change the world for the better – and our platform will make that happen.”
Blackbaud’s bbdevdays conference was held from March 2-4th, 2021, and brought together developers from around the world to collaborate and exchange ideas about social impact technology. The event provided an opportunity for developers to learn about the latest trends and innovations in the sector, while also getting hands-on experience with Blackbaud’s SDK.
