  • Deloitte expands its MXDR cybersecurity solution to address challenges in enterprise, cloud, and operational technology security operations centers (SOC).
  • The expansion includes two new modules for identity security and mission-critical operational technology.
  • The MXDR platform, in collaboration with CrowdStrike and Claroty, aims to help organizations take a proactive defensive posture in their cyber programs.

Deloitte Global, one of the world’s leading professional services firms, has announced the expansion of its Managed XDR (MXDR) cybersecurity Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution. The company has enhanced the solution with advanced Operational Technology (OT) and Identity modules, further strengthening its capabilities in protecting organizations against cyber threats.

MXDR is a comprehensive cybersecurity solution that combines advanced analytics, threat intelligence, and automation to provide effective threat detection and response. With the inclusion of the enhanced OT and Identity modules, Deloitte is now able to provide a more holistic approach to cybersecurity, covering a wider range of cyber risks faced by organizations.

The OT module focuses on protecting operational technology systems, which include industrial control systems and other critical infrastructure. These systems are increasingly becoming targets for cyber-attacks, and organizations need robust protection measures to prevent any disruptions to their operations. The OT module of MXDR monitors these systems for any anomalies or malicious activities, allowing for immediate response and mitigation to prevent potential damages.

On the other hand, the Identity module addresses the growing security risks associated with user identities and access management. With the increasing number of remote workers and access points, organizations are facing new challenges in ensuring the security and integrity of user identities. The Identity module of MXDR helps organizations identify and track user activities, detect any unauthorized access attempts, and enforce proper access controls.

By expanding its MXDR solution with these new modules, Deloitte aims to provide organizations with a comprehensive and integrated cybersecurity solution. This will enable organizations to effectively manage and mitigate cyber risks, regardless of their IT landscape or industry.

“Today’s cyber threats are evolving rapidly, and organizations need dynamic and adaptable cybersecurity solutions to stay ahead of these threats,” said Walter Bohrer, Deloitte Global’s Cyber Cloud leader. “By broadening our MXDR solution with enhanced OT and Identity modules, we are providing our clients with a more comprehensive and robust cybersecurity defense mechanism.”

Deloitte’s MXDR solution has been well-received by organizations across various industries, including financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare. With the addition of the enhanced OT and Identity modules, Deloitte aims to further strengthen its position as a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions.
