Assessing PFAS Removal Systems: A Closer Look at Available Technology

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) have become a growing concern in recent years due to their widespread presence in the environment and potential health risks. As a result, there has been a significant push to develop effective removal systems to mitigate the impact of PFAS contamination.

A key focus of this effort has been on evaluating the available technology for removing PFAS from water and wastewater sources. A recent study conducted by researchers at the University of Environmental Science and Engineering has provided a closer look at the various PFAS removal systems currently available on the market.

As the demand for PFAS removal systems continues to grow, there is a pressing need for ongoing research and development to improve existing technologies and develop new, more effective solutions. This study serves as a valuable resource for guiding decision-making and investment in PFAS removal technology, as communities and industries seek to address this pressing environmental and public health concern.
