  • The collaboration between Digostics and University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust (UHS) has led to groundbreaking advancements in gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) remote screening, allowing pregnant women in Hampshire to access the oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) from home.
  • Results from the initiative, known as GTT@home, have shown positive outcomes with all women successfully undergoing testing in their target week and 100% of mothers and maternity staff preferring this approach over traditional clinic-based testing.
  • GTT@home not only improves testing quality and patient-centered care but also reduces management workload for maternity services, increases test uptake, and reliability, and allows for faster review of test results by healthcare professionals compared to traditional methods.
