Nintendo Switch users who own The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive Netflix-based DLC. On December 14th, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’s next-generation release will receive new content that draws inspiration from Henry Cavill’s portrayal of Rivia’s Geralt.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive DLC based on Netflix due to the success of the Witcher adaption on Netflix. The next-generation edition of the game was meant to have this content, but these claims have raised questions about whether Nintendo systems will also get Netflix-based content.
The news came from The Witcher’s official Twitter page that the next-gen version will arrive on his December 14th. The Witcher site has responded to comments confirming that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Netflix DLC is still available for Nintendo Switch. The only thing mentioned so far is armor inspired by Henry Cavill’s appearance in the Netflix show, so players still don’t know exactly what this DLC will contain.
The news that Netflix DLC will continue to be released with the next-gen version of the title is good news for gamers. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has remained hugely popular for seven years since its original release in 2015. However, the Netflix show helped breathe new life into The Witcher universe as The Witcher 3: Wild His Hunt’s player numbers skyrocketed in Season 2 of the show. Nintendo fans will be happy to know that it hasn’t been left out in this regard. To see how the console really struggles to compete with the graphics of modern consoles, you have to watch Sonic Frontier on Switch.
The good news is that fans of the games they play on Switch won’t forget, but it could be a bittersweet victory as the console is really struggling to keep up with the next-gen consoles. We can’t support it, but fans can take comfort in knowing that they’ll get additional content for free that even those with more powerful systems can get.
