Fujitsu, a multinational IT company based in Japan, has launched a new platform aimed at assisting Web3 developers worldwide.
The Fujitsu Web3 Acceleration Platform was created to provide a development environment as well as a variety of service APIs built on blockchain and high-performance computing technologies. The platform will assist users in start-ups, partner companies, and universities in developing new Web3 applications and services.
In addition, the platform will give users access to Fujitsu’s Computing as a Service applications like ‘CaaS HPC’ and ‘CaaS Digital Annealer,’ as well as the ‘Fujitsu Computing as a Service Data e-TRUST’ module. Participants in the company’s global partner program will be granted free access to the new platform, which will be available in Japan beginning in March 2023. In fiscal 2023, the company intends to make the program available to global partners.
The primary goal of the project is to assist users in developing new Web3 applications by enabling new ways to interact, create, and share data freely and securely. In addition to the blockchain and verification technologies provided by ‘Data e-TRUST,’ the new platform will give users access to Fujitsu’s computing technologies and applications for developing and running simulations, AI, and combinatorial optimisation applications.
In the rights management sector, the platform could aid in the development and deployment of new Web3 services for the distribution of digital content such as images and videos, thereby protecting copyrights and ensuring the authenticity of digital data.
Fujitsu and its partners will investigate various use cases, create new prototypes, and participate in proof-of-concept trials to create new businesses in areas such as digital content rights management and utilization, digital trust realization, and co-creation society realization through decentralized autonomous organizations.
Users could conduct trials for the development and implementation of new Web3 services in which projects are organized and promoted through autonomous consensus among participants based on various objectives.
In order to enable more flexible and open communication and use of information, participants could test the development and implementation of new Web3 services to ensure the accuracy and reliability of information by avoiding risks such as leakage of personal information and fraudulent transactions.
Fujitsu will hold a global planning and development contest to form and implement DAO communities and create new Web3 services as part of its Web3 platform expansion efforts.
