Two new members have just joined the Oregon Tech (Oregon Tech) Board of Directors. She is Daniel Withers and Annette Cole, both of whom received their degrees in electrical engineering in 1970 and nursing, respectively, in 1986.
The Board of Directors of the Oregon Tech Foundation is made up of alumni, locals, and business and industry experts. The Board provides guidance to the Foundation regarding how to support Oregon Tech’s charitable, service, and educational endeavors.
Previously the Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care at Sky Lakes, Cole is now the Director of Performance Excellence.
Cole is in charge of leading and overseeing initiatives for organizational-wide performance improvement, aiding department heads with their individual projects, and utilizing Lean Her Six Her Sigma Her Tools. Cole has nursing bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oregon Tech University and the University of Phoenix, respectively.
After serving for three years in the U.S. Navy, Withers earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Oregon Institute of Technology as well as certificates in radiology, electronics, and electronics. He has held leadership positions in the wired and wireless communications sector, as well as ownership of a business that specialized in minicomputer installation and maintenance.
