Xiaomi subsidiary Redmi seems to be getting serious about mobile gaming. After the company announced Redmi K50 Gaming earlier this year (only in China, unfortunately), a successor has shown its flag through the IMEI database.
Aptly he named Redmi K60, the Redmi K60 picks up where its predecessor left off and offers the best possible silicon inside. Perhaps it will be his one of the first smartphones with the Snapdragon 8 Gen2.
The IMEI list was first discovered by his Xiaomiui and reveals some minor details like the model number -23011310C (C stands for China) but the Xiaomiui guys have additional information about the game monster increase.
Redmi K60 Gaming Rumored Specs
The processor and phone are codenamed Socrates and Kailua respectively, and the 8-core CPU setup is said to reach his 3.0 GHz clock speed. That extreme frequency is reserved for the massive Cortex-X3 performance core, which will debut (along with the entire 8 Gen2 platform) at the annual Qualcomm summit in November.
Since the source of Xiaomiui remains a mystery, please understand a little bit of the information below. Still, there’s a certain logic behind it, so let’s get started. Redmi K60 Gaming aims to improve on its predecessor, so according to these uncited sources, the phone will come with the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen2 platform.
Redmi K60 Gaming price and availability
Redmi 60 Gaming will launch in China first. It is currently unknown if a global version exists under another name. However, one thing is certain: pushing the boundaries in this way would inevitably lead Redmi to have quality hardware, and that is already happening (e.g. Redmi Note 11 Check Pro+). Fingers crossed on the possibility that these gaming devices will hit the global market at some point in the future.
