In an exclusive interview with Bloomberg News, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang issued a warning that the lack of expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) will cause individuals to fall behind in the competitive job market. Huang emphasized the increasing importance of AI and its impact on the future workforce.

Huang stated that “We have an AI revolution happening, and there are only going to be more and more applications of artificial intelligence that are creeping into industries and into the lives of your everyday lives.” He warned that individuals who lack AI knowledge and skills may not be able to compete in various job markets, as companies increasingly rely on AI to boost productivity and profitability.

During the interview, Huang cited numerous examples of how AI is already transforming various industries. In healthcare, AI is being used to develop personalized treatment plans and to identify early signs of diseases. In finance, AI is being deployed in fraud detection and risk management. In the automotive industry, AI is essential to the development of autonomous vehicles.

Huang urged individuals to invest in AI education and urged governments to prioritize AI education to address the skill gap. He said, “Governments need to train more engineers, computer scientists, and data scientists in the fundamentals of AI. This is the most important project that any government can invest in today.” He added, “If we don’t do it, we’re going to fall behind. It’s as simple as that.”
