Ivy Tech Community College will continue to develop and broaden possibilities for Hoosiers in Midwest Indiana and across the state as the 2022 academic year gets underway.
Ivy Tech aligns Wabash Valley with community needs and industry demands through low tuition, increasing enrollment in strategic programs, and campus enhancements.
Ivy Tech Community College presented cost-saving possibilities for Indiana students as the rising expense of higher education began to have an influence on higher education across the nation. This university, often known as Ivy+, gives students:
Frozen tuition costs: There will not be any price increases for the academic years 2021–22 and 2022–23. The lowest hourly rate in Indiana is $149.55. Ivy+ Textbooks: Universities provide all the required texts for one fee, removing the need for fluctuating text expenses from semester to semester. The required texts are free of charge up until the spring semester of 2023.
One of the methods Ivy Tech uses to offer hands-on educational pathways is the Associate Accelerated Program known as ASAP. The ASAP program is a rigorous curriculum that enables high school graduates to earn an associate’s degree in 11 months.
Ivy Plus Tuition: Students who enroll in 12 credits or more per semester receive free credit for any additional credits. With Ivy+ tuition, students graduate more quickly and pay less for their entire education because the tuition is the same whether they earn 12, 13, 14, or 15 credits or more.
ASAP courses run Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm. Program students are part of small, supportive groups called cohorts.
Additionally, her dedicated ASAP coordinator helps students navigate the program, identify academic and professional goals, and chart a clear path to success.
ASAP graduates graduate with an associate’s degree as well as the skills they need to succeed in employment and other academic programs. Ivy Tech partners with many Indiana schools. A student can save up to $10,000 on a bachelor’s degree by transferring an Ivy Tech degree to her four-year college. Tuition for the ASAP program is currently conducted at Ivy Tech’s Greencastle. The program begins each August and is open to anyone with a GPA above her 2.5 and under her 22 years of age.
