League of Legends lead his champion his designer Riot August shared a tweet on Wednesday confirming plans to give Jax and Rell mid-scope his update. The former is handled by both Riot August and Riot Maxw3ll, his League designers who created Lillia, Yuumi, Gwen, and K’Sante. Rell’s mid-scope update will be handled by Riot Raptorr, the design manager for League’s champion team.
No details have been shared about what exactly is going on with these two at this time, but Riot August said more information about them and the release date of the Midscope update will be shared in the future. Riot August also reassured Neeko players that this champion update has not been forgotten, and that the update will be “ready early next year.”
Rell boasts a unique design compared to other champions, but he’s not always cast in supporting roles compared to his competitors. The Rell community has been pretty adamant that it received special attention at some point, and it’s no doubt the catalyst for these mid-scope update announcements.
