Lineup of Forward-Thinking Speakers Revealed for GroceryTech Event

  • The GroceryTech event is being presented by Progressive Grocer and RIS News to bring together business and technology leaders in the grocery industry to support innovations and strengthen critical tech infrastructure. The event will focus on scaling with personalization and offer interactive educational sessions with industry experts, covering topics such as digital growth and profitability, next-gen customer experiences, and leveraging emerging grocery technology.
  • The event will take place in Cincinnati from July 12-14, and executives across the food retailing spectrum will participate to gain insights on scaling with personalization. Attendees will have the chance to engage with one another in a collaborative setting and glean insights and expert advice from industry heavy hitters through a series of interactive educational sessions.
  • The event will feature forward-thinking speakers such as Sylvain Perrier, CEO of Mercatus; Jody Kalmbach, group VP of product experience for The Kroger Co.; Pam Dillon, CEO and co-founder of Preferabli; and Larry Liu, CEO of Weee!. They will discuss topics such as deploying AI in the grocery ecosystem and creating personalized experiences for customers through technology and innovation.

The annual GroceryTech event, an innovation platform for the grocery industry, recently announced its lineup of progressive speakers for the upcoming conference. The event, which takes place next month, brings together leading entrepreneurs, innovators, and executives to discuss the latest trends and technologies shaping the future of the grocery industry.

This year’s lineup of speakers promises to be one of the most diverse and insightful yet. Among the keynote speakers is Amanda Martinez, CEO of Moonshot, a startup that uses artificial intelligence to improve supply chain efficiency. Martinez will share insights on how AI can transform the way grocery retailers operate, from supply chain management to personalized marketing.

Also speaking at the event is Kelly Gauthier, Head of Sustainability at Kroger, one of the largest grocery retailers in the US. Gauthier will discuss the company’s ambitious sustainability goals, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions and eliminating waste.

Other speakers include Raji Bala, CEO of Equinox Group, who will talk about the future of e-commerce in the grocery industry, and Anthony Scaramucci, founder of SkyBridge Capital, who will discuss the impact of emerging technologies like blockchain and cryptocurrency on the industry.

The event will also feature breakout sessions and panel discussions on a variety of topics, including digital marketing, consumer behavior, and the rise of alternative protein.
