The upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog video game Sonic Frontiers will have its own Monster Hunter DLC. Sega has announced that Sonic Frontiers will include free downloadable content with special gear based on his Monster Hunter franchise on Capcom. The collaboration is set to end on November 14th, less than a week after Sonic Frontiers for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC released on November 8th.
The DLC announcement in English is relatively straightforward, but lacks detail. However, the Japanese version points out that there is special gear for Sonic and a BBQ set that allows you to play some sort of mini-game to get stronger. Awakens, he miraculously escapes cyberspace and arrives on the island of Kronos, one of the Starfall Islands full of ancient ruins teeming with strange foes, after which he explores the Starfall Islands, missing It’s up to Sonic to find his friend and unravel the mysteries surrounding him.”
