John Ustica, 44, has been named the president and CEO of Siemens Government Technologies (SGT), the company said today. Ustica has more than 20 years of experience successfully serving Siemens’ clients all around the world and joined SGT in 2018 as CFO. He has developed a special depth of combined technical and operational expertise of the Siemens advanced technology portfolio by leading varied teams in roles ranging from finance to plant operations and strategy.
Prior to joining SGT, he oversaw strategic product efforts for the network of worldwide generator manufacturers while serving as General Manager for Generator Products at the Siemens Energy Facility in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Ustica, in his capacity as CEO, will oversee a group that acts as the only authorized supplier of Siemens’ extensive technology portfolio for government customers, offering solutions spanning industrial automation, smart infrastructure, and building automation technologies, as well as cutting-edge product lifecycle management software tools and digital twins connecting the real and virtual worlds to optimize government operations, including military depots, to more accurately predict full lifecycle costs.
