Oppo is working on a new pair of flagship smartphones known as the Oppo Find X6 series. We saw some live images of the Oppo Find X6 Pro last week, which revealed the massive camera island and the thick body of the smartphone.
A new report has emerged that sheds some light on the display specifications of the standard Find X6 model. The leak is attributed to Weibo tipster DSC, who claims that the Find X6 standard version has a 6.74-inch Flexible AMOLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1240p (1.5K+). It will have a refresh rate of 120Hz and PWM dimming at 2160Hz.
The display also has a single centered-punch hole cutout for the front camera and a narrow-edge curved screen, according to the report. It is currently unknown whether these exact specifications will be translated onto the device or if the brand will make some resolution adjustments.
We previously reported that the Oppo Find X6 will feature a large rectangular triple camera module with an LED flash. The third camera in the system is a periscope zoom lens. There is also etched writing that reads “Powered by MariSilicon” between the periscope lens and an LED flash. Below it is a rectangular plate with the Hasselblad logo.
The device is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. A front-facing 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera could be included. On the back, it could have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS. A 4,800mAh battery with 80W charging capability is possible.
The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset is expected to power the device.
