  • Since the significant shift from real-time activity to online action, several online platforms have optimized their platforms and evolved with trending content.

This adds Netflix to the list of technology companies expanding their services outside of their own brand. Netflix has reportedly invested resources to offer an unprecedented game subscription service.

Now, the streaming giant plans to launch custom games exclusively on Netflix. The product offering is unlikely to be missing from Apple’s, Google’s or Microsoft’s App Stores, Techbooky writes.

Unlike other app stores, Apple’s App Store is likely to offer Netflix games on its App Store. This is because Apple’s App Store policy prohibits other users from hosting the Apps & Games Store on the App Store as an alternative option. Netflix reportedly turned down Google’s Stadia, while Microsoft’s xCloud offered to list it on the App Store.

Still, the announcement seems vague: Stream Giant hasn’t delved into the console system for the upcoming game. Netflix-branded services are focused on streaming video content that requires an uninterrupted online presence.

Netflix has confirmed that it is integrating its movie streaming service with the game. An expansion project that required Netflix to hire Facebook’s top game designer, Mike Verdu, to lead the game project. Besides Facebook’s Oculus Headset AR/VR project, Mike also designed his Zynga and Electronic Art games.

Netflix’s gaming experience is expected to have an exclusive catalog of arcade games similar to Apple’s – when this consoleless gaming experience rolls out. You should consider moving forward with your game project as it may affect your service on

Apple has reportedly blocked Facebook from tweaking custom games. Netflix is not allowed by Apple’s policy and should reconsider its intentions to bring its web gaming platform to iOS. On the other hand, if Netflix persistently violates Apple’s App Store policies, it could start a futuristic war between Epic and Apple.

Questions about a possible Netflix ban from iOS have gone viral since the Netflix game was confirmed. If you think Apple and Netflix are likely to clash, leave your thoughts in the comment box.
