Pixel 7 owners are angry at Google for not accepting responsibility for shattered glass

  • It was the day after Christmas, and…there was no poem. We first alerted you on December 26th to concerning reports from Pixel 7 series owners who claimed the glass on their phone’s rear camera bar was spontaneously shattering. The number of complaints began to rise in the early days of the new year, to the point where Google can no longer hide its head in the sand and must address the issue.

It’s clear that none of these Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro owners simply dropped their devices or sat on a brick. Because there has yet to be a similar issue with the Pixel 6 line, the problem could be related to the aluminium used on the Pixel 7 series camera bar. While many Redditors on the social media site are angry at Google for the design flaws that caused the problem, they are furious at the company for how it has handled their complaints.
