Xbox Game Pass basically just stole new games from Sony’s PlayStation Plus service. In general, it’s no big surprise that many of the same titles appear on both his PS Plus and Game Pass. Popular games like Death Stranding, Hollow Knight and Assassin’s Creed Origins hit the Xbox and PlayStation subscription platforms simultaneously. For some reason, Game Pass now lets you get your hands on his previous PS Plus games, which ended service just a few days ago.
Going forward, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can download the first-person horror game Soma and play it for themselves on consoles, PC, and cloud his devices. Especially since Halloween is just around the corner, the addition of Soma alone isn’t all that strange.Unusually, however, Soma will be available to download and play as part of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium until October 18th. I was able to. However, the moment Soma left PS Plus, it seems that Xbox stepped in and stole the Game Pass game.
Perhaps Xbox Game Pass didn’t “steal” Soma from his PS Plus. Games ending on both subscription services are often tied to contracts that determine how long they will be available, and Soma’s October 18th removal from his PS Plus was set long ago. . That said, we’ve also heard in the past that some games available on both PS Plus and Game Pass are part of exclusivity deals and can’t be shown on other services. Not sure if there was one, but the timing is definitely a bit strange. Either way, Xbox Game Pass subscribers certainly won’t mind, and are happy to have a new spooky game to play in October.
