The Galaxy A54 made yet another public appearance, proving that MediaMarkt can’t keep a secret any better than Samsung can and that it hasn’t even been formally announced yet. And the Galaxy A34 joined it this time.
The Samsung Galaxy A54 is priced at €500 for the 128GB base model and €550 for the 256GB model. Amazing Violet, Awesome Lime, Awesome Graphite, and Awesome White are the four colorways that are offered.
About the Galaxy A34, the 128GB variant costs €390, while the 256GB model costs €460. Amazing Violet, Awesome Lime, Great Graphite, and Awesome Silver are the colours that are offered (the only gradient paint job).
Although both phones include microSD card slots, the 256GB model has 8GB of RAM compared to the 128GB model’s 6GB. As a result, you might prefer to purchase the more expensive model.
By the way, if you look at the selfie camera, you can identify the difference between the two models: the more expensive A54 utilizes a punch hole, while the less expensive A34 has a notch. However, they shouldn’t be confused in person because the Galaxy A54 will feature a 6.4″ screen while the A34 will have a larger 6.6″ panel (both 120Hz FHD+ AMOLEDs).
These costs are higher than the base prices of the Galaxy A53 and A33 from last year (€450 and €370, respectively), although being lower than the speculated amounts.
The Galaxy A54 will be powered by the Exynos 1380, have a 5,000mAh battery with 25W charging, a 50+12+5MP camera on the rear, and a 32MP camera on the front, according to leaked specifications (now validated by the MediaMarkt listing).
The same 5,000mAh battery will be used in the Dimensity 1080 for the Galaxy A34. The selfie camera will feature a 13MP sensor, and the rear camera will contain 48+8+5MP sensors. Each phone will have IP67 water and dust resistance.
This week, Samsung is anticipated to introduce the Galaxy A34 and A54, while the precise time may vary by area. It appears that the A34 launch in India is set for March 16. (Thursday).
