After more than ten years, Silent Hill is at last back. It was never really a mainline game, but it is back with some new titles, including a remake of Silent Hill 2. His final actual Silent Hill game, Silent Hill: Downpour, was released in 2012. In the Xbox One and PS4 era, Konami has substantially improved, shelving projects like Hideo Kojima’s Silent Hill title.
However, Konami has resorted to the series to make up for the ten-year gap in new Silent Hill games. One of those games, Silent Hill 2 Remake, has been speculated for a long time and is now available. On the occasion of a Konami video event, the remake was announced. If Konami wishes to revive its IP, a reasonable place to start is with Silent Hill 2, which is possibly the most well-known game in the entire series that really borrows from the whimsical and tragic psychological horror the series is known for.
It not only makes reference to one of the games that made the series popular among fans, but also aims to draw in newcomers. Here I am. Bloober Team is producing a remake for the creator of The Blair Witch and The Medium, which may be a contentious decision. After a 12-month period of exclusivity on PlayStation 5 and PC, Silent Hill 2 Remake might be made available on other systems, like Xbox.
It’s currently unknown what changes will be made to this remake other than the graphics, and it’s unclear if this remake will feature weird things like: B. Alternate ending with UFO. It’s possible that the Bloober team doubles all the dark elements to his and avoids the light elements, but we don’t know that yet.
