Maybe Xiaomi should do the same as Sony and market it as “1 inch type” sensor which refers to the cylinder format sensor but the way you interpret the sensor is up to the reader. 1 inch in cylinder format and 1 inch in diagnonal format are two different things. Xiaomi is still correct here either way, plus the sensor size is the largest of any popular phones out there.
