Two shortlisted deans of the University of Hawaii Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology (SOEST) at Manoa will hold meetings, interviews, and public presentations on campus later this month.

Brian Taylor, Associate Dean, University of Hawaii Manoa Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology Dr. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master’s degree from the University of Sydney.
David Farmer, Dean and Professor at the University of Rhode Island Graduate School of Oceanography, said: Dr. Farmer received his Master of Science degree from McGill University and completed his Ph.D. He is from the University of British Columbia.
University of Manoa President Denise Connan thanked the advisory board for the search for the dean, saying, “We encourage the campus community to participate in public meetings planned with these candidates. As the process progresses, it will be important to get feedback on the transaction.”
