Marvel Snap creator Second Dinner has “a lot of cool ideas for new game modes,” but is skeptical about introducing a single-player mode.
Second Dinner co-founder and Marvel Snap creator Ben Brode said in an interview with IGN: When asked about the possibility of introducing a PvE or single-player mode, Brode hinted that the developers were more interested in keeping the game’s focus multiplayer.
“I don’t know. This game is very different from other card games. So a lot of the fun in the game is the mind game, trying to imagine what your opponent will do next,” says Brode.
“I don’t know. I guess I didn’t think enough about what it would look like to see if it could be really fun in that area. I think there’s a lot of room for new modes. Multiplayer I have a lot of cool ideas for new game modes for , but I don’t know anything about single player.”
