The new ChatGPT-powered Bing from Microsoft is now rolling out to some users

As we all know, ChatGPT is renowned for its capacity to address queries in a human and conversational manner as opposed to merely disseminating website links. The traditional search engine may be rendered obsolete by ChatGTP and similar AI technology, so Microsoft is preparing Bing for the upcoming battle in the search market.

The latest computing trend is ChatGPT, and both Google and Microsoft are placing significant bets that AI will play a significant role in computing’s future. The rumors that ChatGPT would be moving to Bing were recently confirmed by Microsoft. A new version of Bing with ChatGPT is now accessible on the desktop following a teaser last week.

Bing powered by ChatGPT was unveiled last week at a New York City event. After the announcement, the updated version of Bing is now accessible on desktop computers. Even so, the service is only available in a “early access” version that is invite-only and limited to a select group of users.

The homepage has undergone a complete redesign thanks to the new Bing. A new “Ask me anything” search bar on the homepage still opens the standard search interface but gives you access to the “Chat” feature.

The new AI version of Bing has an interface akin to ChatGPT or You.com (a ChatGPT-powered search engine).

In an email, Microsoft acknowledged the launch of the updated Bing Chat.

Microsoft wrote in an email sent to early testers, “We’re excited to give you access to an early preview of the New Bing – your AI-powered copilot for the web.”

Bing will soon be available on Android and iOS, according to the company, though there may be some delays because the mobile experience is not yet ready. “We don’t yet have a mobile experience ready, but we’re working hard to get one soon. To ensure you are prepared for the amazing experience when the mobile version is ready, please continue to use the new Bing on desktop and download the Bing app from your preferred app store in the interim, the company said.

Although answers are accurate and the Bing Chat UI functions fairly well, it takes about ten to twenty seconds to generate answers and an additional thirty seconds to complete responding.
