WhatsApp Beta for iOS now supports group calls with up to 15 participants

WhatsApp, the popular messaging app, has rolled out a new feature for its iOS beta users. The latest update now allows users to make group calls with up to 15 participants. This has been a highly anticipated feature by WhatsApp users, and it aims to enhance the communication experience for those who frequently engage in group calls.

Previously, WhatsApp only allowed group calls with up to four participants. With this new update, users can now add more participants to their group calls, making it easier to connect with a larger circle of friends, family, or colleagues. The increased capacity of 15 participants is a significant improvement and ensures that more people can be part of the conversation at the same time.

To initiate a group call, users can simply start a voice or video call with an existing participant and then add more people to the call by tapping on the “add participant” icon in the top right corner of the screen. Users can now add up to 14 more participants in addition to the initiator, making it easier to bring together larger groups for important discussions or casual catch-ups.

This feature is currently available for WhatsApp Beta users on iOS, which means that it is still being tested and may contain some bugs or glitches. However, it is expected to roll out to all iOS users soon, once the beta testing phase is successfully completed.

WhatsApp has been continually evolving to meet the growing demands of its users. Earlier this year, the app introduced the ability to make group video calls with up to eight participants, and now, it has expanded this capability even further. The company seems dedicated to providing a seamless and enjoyable communication experience for its users.

Group calls have become an essential tool for connecting with people remotely, especially during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With WhatsApp’s new feature, users can now easily connect with more people at once, making it a convenient solution for personal or professional purposes.

The latest update to WhatsApp Beta for iOS brings exciting possibilities for its users by supporting group calls with up to 15 participants. As the beta testing progresses, it is likely that additional improvements and refinements will be made to ensure a smooth and reliable experience for users all around the world.
