  • IBS Software was established by V K Mathews 25 years ago this month with a team of 55 engineers and a goal to revolutionize the travel business through digital technology. The company has fulfilled its purpose over the past 25 years by offering cutting-edge technology to the aviation, cargo & logistics, cruise, hospitality, and loyalty industries. This has helped companies digitise their operations as travel and consumer expectations quickly change.

IBS Software has over 3,500 employees working in 40 different countries, and in addition to creating a sophisticated suite of products, it has also fostered and encouraged communities of customers and partners to discuss important issues that guide the creation of solutions that benefit their companies. Since the pandemic, IBS Software has increased the number of clients it serves, with 14 of the top 20 airlines, six of the top 15 hotel chains, and six of the top cruise lines choosing it to support their digital transformation initiatives.

“After 25 years, our mission at IBS Software remains cler; to assist businesses improve their revenue and market share, lower their cost of operation, and enable them to offer best-in-class products,” says V K Mathews, Chairman of IBS Software

COVID 19 has facilitated a significant shift from supply to demand, placing travelers in the driver’s seat and placing pressure on the industry to offer highly personalized choices. “The travel industry was an early adopter of technology, but re-engineering highly used IT systems is complex, and progress has historically been held back by the shackles of legacy technologies. Now travel companies have to free themselves.”

IBS Software, a disruptor and a reliable partner for the ensuing 25 years and beyond, can assist you on your journey toward becoming a technology company, which today every travel company must also be.
