Cal Poly’s Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology is proud to announce the offering of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Workshop for students and faculty. The workshop, titled Tofido, aims to provide participants with hands-on experience in understanding and applying AI in their respective fields.
The workshop will cover a wide range of topics, including machine learning, neural networks, natural language processing, and computer vision. Participants will have the opportunity to work on real-world AI projects and learn how to use AI tools and techniques to solve complex problems.
Dr. Sarah Johnson, the director of the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology, expressed her excitement about the workshop, stating that “AI is a rapidly evolving field that has the potential to revolutionize various industries. It is important for students and faculty to have a strong understanding of AI in order to stay competitive in the job market and to contribute meaningfully to their fields.”
The Tofido workshop is open to students and faculty from all disciplines, and no prior experience in AI is required. The workshop will be conducted by industry experts and will feature guest speakers from leading tech companies.
Participants will also have the opportunity to network with professionals in the field and gain insights into career opportunities in AI.
The workshop is scheduled to take place over the course of a week and will include both virtual and in-person sessions to accommodate the needs of all participants.
Those interested in participating in the Tofido AI Workshop are encouraged to contact the Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology for more information and to register for the workshop.
