The business has agreed to employ BioT’s technology, which enables doctors to remotely monitor the development of their patients, to assist stroke patients regain hand function.
Vineet Johnson, CEO of IRegained, said his company chose BioT’s pre-existing technology because it complies with international standards for protecting patient information online rather than building its own secure cloud platform.
“We decided to concentrate our efforts on developing our core IP (intellectual property) and mechatronic device and teamed with BioT as they demonstrated to us a solid and mature platform for building connected care solutions around devices such as ours.”
“Their expertise and experience in the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) industry were unmatched. More significantly, BioT has a great team to work with that supports our purpose of assisting stroke survivors in regaining their independence.
The MyHand device from IRegained prompts stroke victims to perform a variety of physical exercises that are intended to aid in their recovery of hand function after a stroke. Through a secure web interface, BioT technology enables doctors to track patient progress and modify their treatment as necessary. Soon, the MyHand system will be accessible in a number of places, including India, Taiwan, and North America.
