  • Chubb has announced that new capabilities have been added to its global integration platform, Chubb Studio, making it easier to integrate insurance into the digital environments of its distribution partners.

ChubbThe platform’s three new features give Chubb’s distribution partners access to software development kits (SDKs) the company has created, allowing them to embed the company’s products and services natively within their apps as well as the choice to include goods and services from other insurance providers, third parties, or non-Chubb businesses.

The Blink by Chubb experience, which was previously solely accessible in the US, will also be available to Chubb’s distribution partners.

Over 150 firms, including e-commerce, banks, retailers, mobile, and other consumer enterprises, have adopted Chubb Studio since the company debuted it in 2020, giving their customers digital access to Chubb’s consumer and micro-business insurance products.

The Chubb Studio SDKs include user experience flows, backend APIs, security handshakes, and more. They are accessible for iOS, Android, and the web.

The availability of Chubb Studio SDKs on the platform has also been confirmed by Chubb for its digital distribution partners.

At the same time, the SDK will allow partners to apply their own branding and styling to provide customers with a standardized and distinctive insurance experience.

Chubb also disclosed that the Chubb Studio platform would now support multi-service alliances, including alliances with other insurance companies.

With the help of this new functionality, partners can now transact with Chubb or other third parties’ back office systems through a single point of integration. This helps partners who want to give their clients more options save a lot of time and money. Sean Ringsted, the chief digital business officer at Chubb, said:

“These three new features act as a benchmark for other integrated insurance market players. Our channel partners may install insurance whenever and however they want thanks to our integrated technology and design-driven methodology. With every integration, we pay close attention to our partners’ feedback to ensure that the upcoming version of Chubb Studio is exactly what developers want.
