On Thursday, a photo appeared on his social media of Wiagalerai presenting a pair of his Beats by Dre headphones to a teammate. Kicker/Punter B.T. Potter posted a box of headphones and a note from Wiagalerei on his Instagram story. He said, “A gift for traveling when you need to block out the noise and channel your inner DJ. – DJ”, the note read. You can see the image in the post below. Wiagalerei, who is second overall in the 2020 recruiting class, will spend his 2020 season sitting behind former star Trevor his Lawrence, with one game due to Lawrence’s absence after testing positive for COVID-19.
Clemson quarterback D.J. Wiagalerai is starting his second season as a full-time starter as the school’s quarterback and is looking to recover after failing to live up to expectations last season. Wiagalerai appears to be off to a good start to the season, gaining even more trust from his teammates with extravagant gifts.
“Oh, sure. Looking back at the game, I definitely made a lot of mistakes that I could have done better,” Wiagalerei said, reflecting on last year’s Georgia Tech game. Different games are played and decisions are just made. Again, it’s always nice to see various bugs and things you’re doing well in your game. There were many things that made me think I did a good job. There are also things that I have flipped over. I think it’s part of every game. You will always see the good, you will always see the bad. So I think it’s just a matter of learning from it, experiencing it, thinking about different ways to improve from it, and applying it to the practice fiel
Only did not start. Wiagalerei took charge of his XI starting lineup last year but failed to deliver the numbers the fans were hoping for. Wiagalerai completed his 55.6% of passes in his 2021, tallying 2,246 yards, nine touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Wiagalerai left much to be desired last year, but he’s ready to prove he’s ready to take on the challenge. He later revealed that he was working on it.
