  • Launched by DAVCO Technology, the Shop Pro FXP Series is Specifically Designed to Increase Uptime for Fleets. The redesigned DAVCO product improves efficiency of both the equipment and for technicians with greater filtration and a lighter, thinner profile.

The latest version of its well-known Shop Pro product, the Shop Pro FXP 95, has been released by DAVCO Technology, a Clarience Technologies subsidiary and the market leader in North America for fuel-water separators. The equipment has been rebuilt with the demands of contemporary fleets in mind.

Director of Engineering at DAVCO, “Today’s fleets want to work smarter, better, and faster.” “The new Shop Pro FXP Series takes a holistic approach in helping fleets achieve this goal. First, by enhancing the quality of the equipment itself, and second by improving the ease-of-use for technicians in the field.”

New Shop Pro Series Features New Filtration Technology and Ergonomic Design

The Shop Pro FXP is 44 pounds lighter and 15% more compact than its predecessor in addition to offering better product performance. These characteristics illustrate his DAVCO innovative uptime strategy. “Preventive maintenance using telematics and other monitoring equipment is commonly thought of when fleets think about uptime,” he said. “While this is a crucial aspect of uptime, the key to getting Diesel his vehicles back on the road sooner is streamlining the activities related with the manual repair necessary.”

When transferring fuel or cleaning fuel tanks, Shop Pro FXP products use the same three-layer filtration technology as DAVCO’s most recent Fuel Pro models, which results in superior filtering and removal of contaminated fuel, silt, and water. The three layer technology uses a coalescent layer and a hydrophobic layer, two internal stripping operations, to remove water from the media’s exterior. This makes sure that no water gets past the filter, not even biodiesel, which has a very low sulphur content and is tricky to separate.
