A new update for MultiVersus is officially released today.
This significantly changes the amount of XP players have to earn for him, and adds his Rick in Rick and Morty to the list of playable characters in the free video game.
The update itself and Rick’s release are still far from complete, but developers his Player First Games and Warner Bros.
Games have released patch notes detailing all the juicy changes.
Players will notice that after the patch, the character’s Mastery and his XP required to reach levels 3 to 15 of his track have been doubled, so progressing from level 3 to 15 will be very slow.
The highlight is certainly the addition of Rick Sanchez, but there are some other significant changes in this latest patch as well.
Also, once you complete the tutorial, Shaggy will become a free character and not Wonder Woman.

Player mastery found that he reached bar level 15 too early. This is to help us travel a little further. Improved loading performance on PS4 and Xbox One.
The initial free character upon completion of the introductory tutorial has been switched from Wonder Woman to Shaggy. Wonder Woman is now available for purchase with Gold or Grimium.
Fixed a bug where some players were unable to equip the Profile Her icon. Fixed a bug where the game would sometimes freeze at the end of the game screen.
Fixed Coop Versus AI only showing Wonder Woman and Reindog bots. Added attack decay step to intro tutorial.
