This week, Discord will implement some ground-breaking improvements. The firm, which is most known for its self-titled platform that essentially lets anyone install and administer chat servers, has revealed a ton of new features that it wants to release this week. These consist of the brand-new Native App Directory, Activities, Nitro Basic in its entirety, and more.
Part of an official blog article about the future of Discord states, “We all know that the ability to customize and develop Discord is more vital than ever. “I utilize my Nitro subscription to power his Discord for millions of users. A thriving ecosystem of apps has developed in the meantime. More than 30% of his live servers use the app to personalize it, have fun with games, and secure communications. Additionally, he has observed twice as many app commands being utilized in Discord this year thus far as he did at this same time last year.”
App Directory, due to launch tomorrow, does exactly what it says on the tin. This is a directory of apps that a server admin can browse and add to any server they manage in Discord without having to hunt through 3rd party girlfriend websites and search engines to find it. Certain app developers can also sell premium features natively on Discord in conjunction with the launch of the App Directory. Another major new feature is actually rolling out today.
The new Activities feature allows users to be more interactive and collaborative via her Discord, including: B. Play games. A small rocket ship-shaped button on the voice channel provides access to a variety of new activities. “Starting this week, everyone will have access to two of her activities: PuttParty and Watch Together,” reads part of an official blog post. “Discord Nitro subscribers can launch more activities like Poker Night, Sketch Heads, Chess, Land-io, Letter League and more. Once launched, you can invite your friends who don’t have Discord Nitro to participate in a wide range of activities. ”
