Players had to contend with the recently revived Nezarec in the most recent raid, Root of Nightmares, which was recently made available as a part of the Lightfall expansion. Four encounters are present in the raid, which takes place inside one of the pyramid ships.
The best end-game PvE content in Destiny 2 is unquestionably the raids. They provide players with fantastical spectacles and challenging encounters for some of the best game loot. However, most of the time, raids are very difficult to complete and call for a fireteam of up to 6 members.
These encounters can range from timed races to full-fledged boss fights where all Guardians must work together to defeat them.
The Root of Nightmares may not have been as terrifying for the player base as first believed, it seems. The community found Lightfall’s first raid to be incredibly simple to complete, with a huge number of raiders being able to breeze through the raid, even on the more challenging contest mode.
