AKA The Sims 5 Playtesting for Project Rene is now taking place to get input on some new features. One of the most popular gaming franchises is The Sims, and it does not involve murder, sports, war, crime, or crossovers. A relatively casual experience that lets players immerse themselves in the world and create a second life with family, friends, career, and a home, this franchise has remained faithful to its core over the years. Some people treat it more gravely. Although some people cause havoc on Sims if they do, the practice is not new.
The Sims 4 was released in 2014 and has been supported via expansion packs for years. While this looks set to continue, EA has its sights set on the future of the series. Last week, details about The Sims 5 (called Project Rene) were revealed, and it got pretty interesting. It has multiplayer features and can be played on multiple platforms, including mobile to some extent.
However, EA is currently focused on customization tools for how players can build/provide homes, etc. That’s why Insider Gaming reports that EA is inviting people to review The Sims 5 and try out some of these new features, with playtesting starting his October 25th. , the invited player can invite 3 more friends to play. Here’s an excerpt from the playtest invitation email:
“This playtest is primarily focused on the new object customization tool, now called Workshop. This tool is intended to allow you to customize objects and decorate your apartment. You We encourage you to share your creations, download what other players have created, and don’t forget you can play with your friends to experience everything this playtest has to offer! ”
It’s not yet known when The Sims 5 will be released. It seems that developer Maxis wants to get as much feedback as possible over the next few years. In other words, it is far from release. It may be quite some time before we see the project in full form, but hopefully it won’t be long before we see more.
