The Red Raiders entered day two placed 24th on the leaderboard but made an impressive push to move up eight spots by day’s end. Kyle Hogan led the charge with a solid three-under-par performance, shooting 68 on the day and moving up 69 spots individually. Hogan’s strong play was instrumental in creating momentum for the team and bolstering their overall score.

Pierceson Coody and Sandy Scott also performed well for Texas Tech, each shooting one-under-par for the day. Coody’s 70 included birdies on the par-four 13th and 14th holes while Scott registered seven birdies on the day, including a late birdie on the par-four 18th hole.

The Red Raiders will look to build on their day two performance and carry that momentum into the final round of the tournament. Sitting at +4, the team will be aiming to climb the leaderboard even further and potentially challenge for a top-ten finish.

The tournament, which is being held at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, features some of the top collegiate golf programs in the country, including the top-ranked Oklahoma Sooners. The final day of the Grayhawk Invitational is set to take place on Wednesday, with the Red Raiders looking to finish strong and make their mark in what has been a highly competitive event thus far.
