  • Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker, who co-founded Rocksteady, have announced they will be departing the studio at the end of the year.

Co-founders and studio heads Sefton Hill and Jamie Walker have made the decision to quit the firm.

He then on, “I feel really fortunate to have worked with Jamie and Sefton, who have assembled some of the best game development teams in history. They have been excellent team leaders in everything from the highly acclaimed blockbuster series Batman From Arkham to Suicide Squad’s Evolutionary Thought.

“Visiting Rocksteady Studios has always been a personal highlight for me. They are committed to the highest quality and excellence in all aspects of game development, while ensuring an excellent culture that values ​​their employees. ”

Nathan Burlow, a longtime director of production for Rocksteady and a founding member of the company, will take over as studio director, while Darius Sadeghian will take over as product director.

With Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League nearly complete, the co-founder plans to leave the company in late 2022 to “start a new adventure in the game.”

In a joint statement, Hill and Walker said that their choice had been “emotional to say the least,” adding that Rocksteady had been their “heart and soul” from the day they launched the business in 2004 until the present. It has allowed us to work with incredibly brilliant individuals to create the games we love most.

The Rocksteady fans are a really significant component in all of this, they continued. “Their enthusiasm and support for what we do inspire our motivation to perform at our best. They represent the larger Rocksteady crew, and we are incredibly grateful to them for fueling us for the past 18 years. It is time to pass over the reigns so that we may embark on a new gaming journey as a team now that Suicide Squad is in capable hands and the crew is here and stronger than ever.
