The NVIDIA RTX 4090 chip has been dubbed “White” by Chinese manufacturer AX-Gaming. The card’s AD102 chip is also used by it. This is depicted on its backplate by the stylised “Ada 1” in blue.
The AX-Gaming RTX 4090 X3W is not a very new design for the company. The majority of the graphics cards produced by AX-Gaming, which make up the company’s portfolio, are white. The business began creating cards around the time of the Nvidia RTX 20 series (the introduction of ray tracing came at a significant performance cost) and has already made 15 different RTX 30 series designs available.
It is most likely created by Palit based on the card’s design and the store where it is offered for sale. The cooler itself is primarily white, but there are a few things that assist sift through the snowy layer. These are blue and low-contrast brushed aluminum, which are largely visible on the card’s faceplate. In what AX-Gaming refers to as a “Punk Max” design, they divide the three 90mm fans that are in charge of airflow circulation geometrically. Two 6 mm copper heat pipes are used to reduce the heat generated by the AD102 computer.
Each fan’s center has a painted decoration as well. The outermost fan sports a stylized “ABXY” logo, while the inner fan displays his AX Gaming emblem. It is perhaps a good thing that, when the card is used, the logo itself seems to be a spinning disc.
He has an AX-Gaming RTX 4090 X3W with the core clock set to his 2550MHz, as reported by a Chinese media outlet. The setting here is 30MHz faster than the reference design from Nvidia (2520MHz). The outlet us performance data demonstrates that the RTX 4090 is in good functioning condition.
The backplate is primarily white and has cutouts that promote greater ventilation. Here, there are subtle details like the “Ada 1” logo, the “RTX 4090” identifier, and the corporate logo. A white metal grille and a “RTX 4090” in the same brushed aluminum color, with an LED lighting system for the corporate logo, complete the edge that supports the 16-pin power socket adjacent to the card.
You can purchase this card from AX Gaming outside of China by placing an online order through a store like Aliexpress. I discovered one of his AX-Gaming RTX 4090 X3W models for sale there…at the flagship Galaxy store.
Additionally, there is a 30% discount. Obviously, the price drops from an astounding $4,099 to an even more fantastic $2,869 after the 30% discount, excluding shipping.
