  • The Cordish Companies’ gaming arm, Cordish Gaming Group, has announced today that Steve Nathan has been appointed Senior Vice President of Interactive Gaming.

In his current position as an executive on the operator and supplier sides, Nathan has more than 30 years of experience in both offline and online gaming. He will be in charge of Live! Online business operations, marketing, and strategy for both free-to-play and paid games. Mr. Nathan will be in charge of the sports and internet partnerships, as well as online casino goods including Play Live! In Pennsylvania.

As we continue to grow the Live! Online businesses and Play Live in PA, we are thrilled to welcome Steve Nathan to the Cordish Gaming Group family, said Rob Norton, president of the company. We are convinced that Steve will contribute to the expansion of our interactive gaming channels and collaborations because of his unrivaled iGaming industry knowledge.

Mr. Nathan most recently held the position of Vice President of Omni Channel Marketing at Bally’s Interactive in Providence, Rhode Island, before joining Cordish Gaming Group, where he was responsible for creating a seamless integration of branding and messaging for all of Bally’s assets online and offline. Before that, he was the Chief Interactive Officer of Betworks, a new business in the online sports betting industry.

Mr. Nathan started his professional life in Atlantic City, New Jersey, where he worked his way up the corporate ladder at a number of gaming establishments, including Tropworld Hotel and Casino, Sands Hotel and Casino, Caesars Atlantic City, Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, and Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa. Over the course of his 17-year employment with Borgata, he most recently served as the division’s vice president of online games.

There, in addition to managing the business’ operations, finance, compliance, legal, human resources, and marketing initiatives, he was in charge of growing the team from four to more than 200 members.

Mr. Nathan has a Master of Business Administration from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, and a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Management from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
