It has been announced that the gaming laptop Redmi G Pro Ryzen Edition will debut in China on September 7. Its AMD Ryzen 7 6800H CPU and Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 GPU have also been made public. The company has not yet released any information about its future gaming laptop beyond these two specifications. It hasn’t even hinted at the design as of yet. According to rumours, the Redmi G Pro will resemble the Redmi G 2022 almost exactly, with the exception of the processor and GPU.
Redmi released the Redmi G 2022 gaming laptop in China back in July, equipped with 12th Gen Intel H-series processors. The Redmi G Pro Ryzen Edition will now be released, according to the firm. For those who don’t know, this is the first Pro-series gaming laptop from the firm. Consequently, the name is without a year.
Highlights
If the rumors are true, then the forthcoming laptop will arrive with a 16-inch 2.5K 165Hz display, full-size backlit keyboard, 2 x 2W speakers, HD (720p) webcam, Thunderbolt 4, MiniDP 1.4, HDMI 2.1, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and more. Either way, just like the previous Redmi G gaming laptop models, this one will also most likely remain China-exclusive. Since official service is not available in international markets, it does not make sense to import it either.
