Bandai Namco Entertainment’s Tekken 8 release date appears to be coming sooner than many fans had expected. With no promises made, some believed the game could still be a long way off.Thankfully, a 2023 launch for Tekken 8 doesn’t seem out of the question.
In a recent conference call with investors, Bandai Namco said Tekken 8 could launch in his 2023. Specifically, the publisher announced that it is targeting the arrival of the newest entry in the long-running fighting game series to occur in the company’s fiscal year 2023. So, Tekken 8’s first release date is April 1, 2023, and the latest release date is March 31, 2024.
“We are planning many projects. Tekken 8 is also under development with the goal of launching after 2023,” Bandai Namco said simply in response to an inquiry.
There’s no guarantee that Tekken 8 will be released before the end of 2023, but the fact that it’s possible is sure to cause an uproar among fans. Knowing that is targeting that window suggests more news and gameplay footage will likely be released in the coming months.
