The third lens on the aforementioned camera is described as “useless,” which is both a very interesting and amusing fact. We don’t know what this means, but based on the specs of the OnePlus Nord 2 (9.3 out of 10), which appear to be identical, we can assume that we’re referring to a 2MP depth sensor. Similar to the setup on the Nord 2, the primary camera is listed as a 50MP one with optical image stabilization, and the secondary camera is an 8MP one (likely an ultrawide). The setup is completed by a 32MP selfie camera.
The leaker, who has a spotty track record, shared a specs list on Twitter that mostly restates the information that was leaked a week earlier. The camera array, which was previously only identified as a triple camera, now has a little more information.
The size of the screen varies; the initial leak suggested a 6.74-inch screen, but the most recent information suggests a 6.5″ FHD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of the chipset, there is some ambiguity as well; the initial leak mentioned a Dimensity 8200 processor, whereas this one also offers a Dimensity 8100 Max option.
As always, we should take these rumors with a grain of salt, but in light of the fact that several sources have confirmed these specifications, it seems likely that the Nord 3 could include the aforementioned hardware. Given the ultra-affordable niche that the Nord family fills, the 120Hz AMOLED screen and the 100W fast charging appear to be pretty exciting.
