Douglas Duncan is named Chief Technology Officer from Elementum

  • Alternative investment manager Elementum Advisors, which specializes in reinsurance investments after natural disasters, has announced that Douglas Duncan has joined its senior team at its Chicago headquarters as Chief Technology Officer.

elementum-Consultors-logo Duncan will be responsible for Elementum’s overall IT strategy and program, including technology infrastructure, information security, proprietary application development, architecture, and integration system.

He joined the company from Columbia Insurance Corporation (CIG), where he was responsible for all technology operations as the organization’s Chief Information Officer.

Duncan has held leadership positions in the global technology sector for over a decade, earning a Six Sigma Black Belt and PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) designation. He has also held positions of increasing responsibility with the Corporate Solutions division of Swiss Reinsurance, General Electric Insurance Solutions and the US Federal Highway Administration.
