District Education Officer Arvinder Singh said that the state government’s Mission Gyan did not cover the Literature of Punjabi that has been compensated through this app. The Learn Punjabi app has been prepared by Paramjit Singhadditional District Informatics Officer, National Informatics Center and his team. Through this app one can learn Punjabi from primary to higher secondary level through Hindi, English, Gujarati and Urdu.
Sriganganagar DC Rukmani Riyar launched the Android app “Learn Punjabi” and also published an alphabet book in Punjabi, taking yet another significant step to advance the Punjabi language in the “Punjab of Rajasthan.” She praised this creative initiative and noted that the software would make it easier for more children to learn Punjabi.

Dr Preneet Jaggi anchored the program and said that iPhone Operating System (iOS) version of the app would be launched soon and a play way method of learning language would be further developed with the help of artificial intelligence. In the second phase of the work, graduate and post graduate studies in Punjabi literature would be provided to more and more people in the area through the app.
DAV College Abohar former lecturer Iqbal Singh Godara said that not only the aspirants of Sriganganagar but also from other areas of Rajasthan like Hanumangarh, Kota, Bundi and even those settled in Canada, UK, USA, New Zealand and Australia could easily learn Punjabi from this app. Another educationist Gurdeep Singh Khosa said that the app would be especially beneficial to the senior teachers and lecturers of Punjabi. The Punjabi language books of Rajasthan Education Board have also been digitalized in the app.
